Disclaimer: The Hlumelo Nyaluza Shield Bag has been successfully tested with a 9mm handgun and is rated Level IIIA, the highest level of soft body armour. It stops most handgun threats, including 9mm rounds (up to ±448 m/s) and .44 Magnum rounds (up to ±436 m/s). It does not stop high-velocity or armour-piercing rounds such as 5.56mm (R4/R5 rifles), 7.62mm (AK-47s), sniper bullets, or explosive shrapnel. Protection is limited to the areas of the body covered by the bag while it is being held. Additional ballistic testing is underway.
